Kevin Kurtz, MPT

Kevin graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree and the University of Delaware in 1991 with his Master’s in Physical Therapy. He has practiced in New York and New Jersey specializing in orthopedics, sports injuries, and post-operative care, as well as work injuries. He is a former wrestler, soccer player, and softball player. In his free time, Kevin enjoys playing golf, volunteering his time assisting in coaching wrestling, refereeing NJ wrestling, and spending time with his 3 children and wife, Eileen. He began his career at Kessler Institute in West Orange, NJ and continued in sports-oriented orthopedic practices in New Jersey and Manhattan over the next 10 years. After moving to central New Jersey he was the Director of Rehabilitation for Ford Motor Company in Edison. Kevin then decided to open his own practice in Somerset, NJ in 2004. His treatment philosophy is exercise based to improve patient function with goal-oriented, measurable results.

Aditi Mehta, DPT

Aditi graduated from the 6-year DPT program at University of Sciences in Philadelphia in 2012. She has clinical experience in several different settings with a focus on outpatient orthopedics. In her free time, Aditi enjoys Indian classical dancing, volunteering to teach dance and spending time with her family. In the past, Aditi spent time with Somerset Family Physical Therapy receiving clinical experience; ultimately making her transition as a staff physical therapist seamless. Aditi has always had a strong interest in the treatment of sport and orthopedic injuries and is excited for the opportunity to work with such an exceptional team.

Diego Austin M.S.

Director of Health and Fitness

Diego graduated from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA in 2015 with his bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine and his Master’s in Sports and Exercise Science in 2016 after moving from San Diego, CA. Throughout his college career, Diego worked at the Andover YMCA in MA as a personal trainer and small group exercise instructor and at Merrimack College as a graduate fellow who helped developed the Active Science Program, a national health fitness program for children in elementary and middle school designed to increase their level of physical activity.  Diego specializes in identifying movement pattern deficiencies and correcting them with targeted exercise and pattern retraining. He is a former D2 college rugby player. In his free time Diego enjoys staying active outside and playing golf.
